People need to stop blaming the board for everything that goes wrong with the club. Yes, they've done an awful lot wrong, but everything suggests January's failure is down to Moyes.

I don’t understand the criticism moyes gets, as gutted as I am he has done very well with probably the smallest squad in the league.
Do you honestly think he chose not to spend money in January? He’s hamstrung by the owners, they won’t spend any money now there just months away from selling the club. I think he’s just been professional in what he’s said, slating his own bosses in public isn’t going to help him. He’s probably hoping they fuck off like the rest of us.

Not cursed but mistakes at times have been made, but that's the same for all Clubs. Are Man City cursed for not winning the Champions League again after being seconds away from another Final or should Guardiola be sacked because he hasn't won it despite the multi millions spent?

No, obviously there is no curse, but there is such a thing as luck, which can make a massive difference in football. You can't tell me that hitting the woodwork three times in the first leg is not unlucky. And last night we had more shots on target than Frankfurt. This tie could very easily have gone the other way.

Some of you need to get a fucking grip. We are vying for a regular top 6 spot and we’ve had a fantastic run to the semis in Europe and lost to a team that knocked Barcelona out.
This is better than we’ve had it for what, 35-odd years. Now it’s fucking disappointing as we know what could have been - but all the talk of rotten club and not good enough is ridiculous.
For the slating of Moyes, I also don’t think this is a flash-in-the-pan like we had with Pardew or Bilic. Moyes seems to be building solid foundations.

LOL, how many times have I seen something about us being cured, although granted its does feel that way at times!
Combination of things have seen this Cup dream end, we can point to the lack of activity in January, but I suppose you have to trust the manager on these things, if the right players were not available what’s he supposed to do sign someone for the sake of it? All this blame the board is a bit pathetic though, everything points to funds being available but Moyes didn’t fancy anyone rather than GSB withholding funds, then some questionable refereeing and then our players going to sleep at critical moments or a rash moment of madness as we saw from Cresswell, maybe harsh against Lyon but hung himself out to dry in Frankfurt.
Horrible day as really thought we could do it, just have to dust ourselves off and make sure we qualify for Europe again next season.
End of the day though, how many seasons do we spend finishing with just about hanging on to our PL place? At least we got a decent Cup run and some great away days and not many will forget Seville at home or Lyon away in a hurry.

Northern Sold we beaten Seville (6 times winners) , who were second in the league in Spain. We made the rest of Europe sit up and take notice.
